Guyer High School in Denton, Texas has been found to be using educational material that rewrites the 2nd Amendment. The administration for the school has essentially rejected inquiries about the revision, saying that the material in question is “supplemental”, a summary statement and that teachers and staff in the school district are aware of this and disseminate the correct information on the 2nd Amendment.

Actual 2nd Amendment – “A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed.”

The summary statement – “The people have a right to keep and bear arms in a state militia.”

The school district responded to a request for clarification from Gun Nuts Media and had this to say.
