Over the past few weeks, I have collected a list of lies that liberals have been promulgating thru various outlets. Not all liberals necessarily believe every one of these lies, but I have no doubt that all liberals believe most of them.
Do any conservatives believe some of these lies? Perhaps, and if you do, I’m afraid your membership in the OK Politechs Conservative Club™ is going to have to go up for review.
College basketball players who might possibly believe that homosexuality is a sin should not be allowed to play in the NCAA basketball tournament. Kids in cages at border detention facilities prior to Biden’s inauguration – Evil. Kids in cages at border detention facilities after Biden’s inauguration – Not a story. The President of the United States having to use a picture book at a press conference is not concerning. When cops shoot someone it’s because cops are bad. When anyone else shoots someone it’s because […] → Keep reading

Mention the word ‘lynch’ and you’ll invoke thoughts of historical events of days gone by, blacks being hung from trees by racist mobs, the Ku Klux Klan, or some western movie you saw with the local sheriff standing in front of the jail with a shotgun, holding off the murderous mob of citizens who are intent on stringing up a prisoner. Lynching has not been confined to the United States, but i is certainly been more prevalent in our country than in others. Lynching as most people think of it has all but disappeared, but it has been replaced with a new form of lynching that can be done with a keyboard.
Over the past couple of days, I have seen numerous articles, columns, posts, editorials, tweets, etc about the shooting of Terance Crutcher by a Tulsa police officer. If you’re not familiar with the shooting, this article by ABC News is fairly detailed and an unbiased description of the […] → Keep reading

Yesterday, I happened to overhear two coworkers discussing how much better off we’d be if conservatives would just disappear. I’m sure that would be a dream come true for them as liberals have always seen conservatism as a roadblock to utopia. With unfettered liberalism, our society would quickly become unrecognizable. It got me thinking just what they would do if liberals had no one opposing them. It’s a horrifying scenario.
Guns would be confiscated and destroyed. Not even the police would be allowed to have weapons. The only people left with weapons would be the criminals. And the jihadis. Abortion on demand, anytime, for any age, with no restrictions and one hundred percent taxpayer-funded. Minimum wage will be at least fifteen dollars an hour. All employers are now required to provide paid sick leave, vacation, family leave, and healthcare. Consequently, your burger will now cost you $24.99. Plus tax, of course. Government installations will be constructed along the border to […] → Keep reading

Oklahoma State Senator Kyle Loveless has filed the “Personal Asset Protection Act,” which would drastically change Oklahoma’s civil asset forfeiture law. Currently, civil asset forfeiture law allows law enforcement to seize someone’s assets even though the owner has never been convicted of a crime and in many instances, is never even charged with a crime. The bill, SB838, was filed late in this year’s legislative session and will likely not be acted upon this year. Senator Loveless plans to hold an interim study into civil asset forfeiture law to gather facts and build a coalition of supporters before next year’s session.
The changes that Senator Loveless has proposed are on two main issues. The first is requiring that a conviction be obtained before assets can be seized. The second, and the most likely to be opposed by law enforcement, requires seized assets to be sent to Oklahoma’s general revenue fund instead of being retained by the law enforcement agency making […] → Keep reading

The rioting in Baltimore has been dominating the news this week and it has been a disgusting display of liberalism in action. The thugs claim victim status as justification for rioting, arson and theft while the police stand idly by, handcuffed by a wimp of a Mayor who wanted to give the “protesters” some “space to destroy” the city, while later claiming that she never said that. It is a stark contrast to the rioting in Baltimore in 1861 at the beginning of the Civil War. Fort Sumter, South Carolina is famous for being the location of the first shots fired in the war and the First Battle of Bull Run is famous for being the first major land battle of the armies in Virginia. But did you know that Baltimore is the location of the first documented casualty of the Civil War and that it happened during rioting in the streets? The Pratt Street Riot on April 19, 1861 […] → Keep reading

Nebraska State Senator Ernie Chambers is making me wonder about the district that has continually reelected him for the last forty-four years. He made the news last week when he said on the floor of the Senate that “my ISIS is the police.”
Nebraska Watchdog – “I would tell young people: If you tell somebody to go across the world to fight for ISIS, they can put you in jail if you just talk about it. If you want to fight injustice, don’t — you don’t have to go around the world to find the ISIS mentality, your ISIS is in America. And you’re likely to die over there, one way or the other. So if you’re going to die, die making your home safe. My home is not threatened by ISIS, mine is threatened by the police. The police are licensed to kill us: Children, old people.”
National Review – “If I was going to carry a weapon, […] → Keep reading

Over the weekend the news team at KFOR here in Oklahoma City posted a video to their website that has generated a lot of angry comments on their Facebook page for the video.
If you haven’t watched the video yet, please do so before reading the rest of my post. It is only two minutes long.. .
KFOR posted this video to their news site under the headline – “Incredibly moving video reveals last words of those shot, killed by police”
Aside from the fact that this video is not ‘news’ or ‘reporting’ it is blatantly inflammatory and anti-police. It is also presented with no back stories, fact checking or commentary of any kind. And it is highly misleading.
Let’s take these deaths one at a time and see what the truth is. KFOR should have done this but they didn’t. Shame on them.

While watching the news from the St. Louis area unfold last night I could not help but draw some comparisons between the looting and destruction going on and the liberalism that has infested our country. If you have missed it on the news, a black teenager named Michael Brown was shot and killed on Saturday by police in Ferguson, MO, which is a suburb community on the north side of the St. Louis metro area. Currently, there are conflicting accounts of exactly what happened that led to Brown’s death, with some saying he was surrendering with his arms raised and was shot by police anyway while others say Brown fought with a police officer and attempted to get control of his weapon, being shot by the officer in self-defense. The St. Louis Police Department is conducting an independent investigation and I read this morning that the Federal Bureau of Investigation may be asked to investigate. No word at press time […] → Keep reading

I have been noticing a disturbing trend lately. More and more news reports have been about similar incidents. A Florida nurse is terrorized by U.S. Marshals in a warrantless raid, looking for someone she had never heard of. Based on their appearance she thought she was being the victim of a home invasion, got a gun and almost shot at them. If she had, no doubt they would have killed her. A man asleep in his bed in a basement apartment he was renting was shot 16 times by a sheriff’s deputy and a Department of Corrections officer while they were at the house to arrest a parole violator. The man they were after was already in custody when they decided to search the house, at which time they entered the basement and shot the sleeping man. No charges were filed against them. A 61 year old man is shot to death by police when they conduct a drug […] → Keep reading
