State Board of Education Member Herb Rozell Resigns

Oklahoma Watchdog is reporting that State Board of Education member Herb Rozell has apparently resigned. The board is meeting this morning and Watchdog is there; reporting that Rozell’s picture and bio are no longer on the State Board’s website. Watchdog later reported on Twitter that Rozell had resigned sometime between the last meeting and today, but details are not yet known. Watch the Oklahoma Watchdog website for more info.

At a heated Board meeting in January, Rozell was disruptive and referred to Superintendent Barresi’s legislative liaison as “useless” because she was pregnant. More info on that here.
