
Baseball Hall of Famer and home run king Hank Aaron was speaking yesterday at an event celebrating his record-setting home run and he took the opportunity to compare Republicans who oppose Barack Obama to the Ku Klux Klan. After saying that Republicans are hindering Obama’s job performance he said, “Sure, this country has a black president, President Obama is left with his foot stuck in the mud from all the Republicans with the way he’s treated. The bigger difference is that back then they had hoods. Now they have neckties and starched shirts.”
The real racists are the people like Hank Aaron who believe that it isn’t possible to oppose Obama for his actions without being a racist.
