Legalizing Polygamy and Pedophilia

Now that the Supreme Court has created the constitutional right to homosexual marriage it seems prudent to offer an examination to related social issues in order to determine which perversities will be next on the left’s agenda to be normalized. One need not look very hard for the answer.

Polygamy is an obvious choice. Supreme Court Chief Justice John Roberts noted in his dissenting opinion in the Obergefell decision that the majority of the Court seemingly opened the door for polygamy in their maneuvers to legalize that which had no constitutional basis. The majority’s opinion which legalized homosexual marriage could easily be construed as also requiring the legalization of polygamy.

“Although the majority randomly inserts the adjective “two” in various places, it offers no reason at all why the two-person element of the core definition of marriage may be preserved while the man-woman element may not. Indeed, from the standpoint of history and tradition, a leap from opposite-sex marriage […] → Keep reading

Obama Rebukes Jesus

Jesus was wrong. So says His Excellency Barack the 1st.

At the Catholic-Evangelical Leadership Summit yesterday, Obama quotes part of a verse from the Gospel of Matthew in a manner directly opposite of what Jesus is quoted as having said. I’m sure the Obama worshippers will claim his remark was taken out of context, so here is a transcript of what he said.

“One of the things I’m always concerned about is cynicism,” Obama said. “My chief of staff, Denis McDonough, we take walks around the South Lawn, usually when the weather is good. And a lot of it is policy talk, sometimes it’s just talk about values. And one of our favorite sayings is our job is to guard against cynicism, particularly in this town. And I think it’s important for us to guard against cynicism and not buy the idea that the poor will always be with us and there’s nothing we can do, because there’s a […] → Keep reading

Criminalizing Christianity

With the Supreme Court decision over the homosexual marriage issue expected next month, it could potentially be a landmark decision. The Justices have said their decision will rest on these questions:

Is marriage based on biology or feelings? Who should decide whether to redefine an institution that stretches back for “millennia”? If justices begin tampering with the historically exclusive definition of marriage as the lifelong union of a man and a woman, what would prevent future courts from imposing polygamy, incest or pedophilia-based marriage on the nation?

Justice Scalia noted that if the Court rules that homosexual marriage is a constitutional right, then pastors, rabbis, priests and imams will be forced to perform such ceremonies or face state penalties.

Lifesite – Justice Scalia repeatedly suggested that once a constitutional right to marry by same-sex couples was enshrined by the court, a member of the clergy could not be given civil marriage powers by the state unless he agreed to perform […] → Keep reading

Where Are the ‘No Gays Allowed’ Signs?

The huge brouhaha in Indiana over the last few days has all been a manufactured event designed to paint people with religious beliefs as extremists who want to segregate homosexuals from the general public. The left and the media have both taken a page directly from the Alinsky playbook and have launched attack after attack on Indiana, their legislature and governor and anyone who supports religious freedom legislation. In short, the legislation protects a citizen or business owner’s right to decide with whom to do business and to choose not to if doing so would violate their religious beliefs.

Naturally, the media and the left have pounced upon this legislation as being the next best thing to rounding up homosexuals and putting them in a ghetto, but the truth of it is that the legislation mentions homosexuals exactly zero times. The NCAA, Angie’s List, Salesforce.com and other entities have all announced either displeasure with the new law or that they […] → Keep reading

More Churches Endorse Homosexuality

Last week the Presbyterian Church USA (not to be confused with the Presbyterian Church In America) voted to amend its constitution to allow homosexual marriages. A statement was added to officially recognize “a commitment between two people,” making the Presbyterian Church USA the largest protestant church to approve homosexual marriage.

The move was endorsed last summer by the church’s General Assembly, but the formal change required approval from a majority of the church’s districts. Of the 171 districts, the 86th vote for the change came last week from a district in New Jersey. The change will take effect on June 21. Not all members are happy with the change and this was apparently anticipated by whoever wrote the language to amend the church constitution. It includes a provision stating that clergy cannot be compelled to preside at homosexual weddings or host a homosexual wedding ceremony on church grounds.

The Mormon Church is also changing their position on homosexual marriage. The […] → Keep reading

Christian Values In Business

The transformation of our society has made it inadvisable for Christians to enter into certain professions, lest they be forced to violate their religious principles or face the wrath of the heathens and the government (redundant?) for not doing so. I’m speaking, of course, about the multitude of incidents of late wherein a business owner providing services related to weddings has refused upon principles of Christianity to fulfill a request to do so due to the marriage being of two homosexuals. Cake makers, florists, wedding venue owners and photographers in various states around our nation have been castigated, harassed, protested, shut down, sued and had discrimination complaints filed on them for refusing to provide services in support of homosexual weddings. Some have had to close their businesses; some have been fined; some have been ordered to pay thousands of dollars to the ‘wronged’ homosexuals; and some are still going through the process of having their lives and businesses destroyed because […] → Keep reading

Oklahoma Democrats Debate: Why Do Republicans Think They Are More Religious?

The Eastern Oklahoma County Democrats have announced that at their next monthly meeting there will be a discussion/debate that caught my attention. I’ll let them explain it:

DemoOkie – The Eastern Oklahoma County Democrats are having their monthly meeting on Thursday, February 12 at 7 p.m. in the back of AFGE Union Hall, at the corner of SE 44th & Douglas Blvd, Midwest City (across from Tinker AFB). If you need a ride, please call Steve Covert at 259-9884.

We are going to have a discussion and/or debate on “Why do Republicans believe they are more religious?”. The event will be monitored by Stephen Covert, thus it will be fair to all.

The core of our discussion will be sent to the three newspapers in East Oklahoma County, the Oklahoman, other newspapers in Oklahoma County, the two NPR radio stations and other radio stations. I will email the event to the interested parties twice. Each debate individual is expected to […] → Keep reading

Oklahoma State Representative Sally Kern: Deviancy’s Antagonist

If you’ve lived in Oklahoma very long you probably know who Sally Kern is. If you live outside of Oklahoma you might still know who she is. Since 2004 she has been the State Representative for District 84 and she is a Republican. Because of legislation she has proposed and statements she has made, mostly about the homosexual community, she has been vilified by the left and some on the right, mocked on national television programs, called every dirty and negative name you can think of, labeled a bigot by local media and targeted for reelection defeat by west coast liberals. She has also held true to her convictions, withstood the attacks and continued to propose bills that, in the words of blogger Michael Bates of Batesline, “are in support of the right to have an opinion and act on it, and against leftist fascism.”

For the 2015 legislative session she has filed eight bills, three of which have been […] → Keep reading

The Homosexual Attack On Christianity

For several years now, homosexuals have made news by suing or filing discrimination complaints against bakers, florists, photographers, bed & breakfasts, newspapers, farm owners and others who chose to maintain their religious freedom to not endorse homosexual marriage by providing services in support of a same-sex wedding. The quest by homosexuals to have their lifestyle mainstreamed and accepted, whether voluntarily or forced, is having some success. But this success is only coming due to leftists judges and ‘human rights’ commissions that deem First Amendment religious objections to homosexual marriage to be discrimination. The mythical constitutional protection against being offended is taking precedence over the First Amendment freedom of religion.

But while some business owners have stuck to their religious principles, which has cost some dearly, others in the Christian community have softened their stance on homosexual marriage. Many church denominations have stated their position on homosexuality to be that it is not sinful and therefore, neither is homosexual marriage. These […] → Keep reading

Legitimizing Perversion: Another Nail in the State Sovereignty Coffin

With this week’s action, or rather the inaction, of the Supreme Court, homosexual marriage is now legal in Wisconsin, Utah, Indiana, Virginia and Oklahoma. By refusing to hear cases from these states the Justices have allowed lower court rulings overturning bans on homosexual marriage to stand.

After the Supreme Court’s inaction on Monday there were thirty states recognizing homosexual marriages. Yesterday, a ruling from the 9th Circuit U.S. Court of Appeals added five more states to the list, and a pending decision in the 6th Circuit could get the number up to 39. Of these 39 states, only six have chosen through the democratic process to recognize homosexual marriages. All the rest have had it forced upon them by leftists in black robes.

With each judicial ruling that legitimizes gay marriage, these judges are telling state populations and legislatures that have passed ballot measures, laws and amendments that their democratic process doesn’t matter and their sovereignty as a state is […] → Keep reading
