Other reports I’ve seen also make me raise an eyebrow, although I’m more skeptical about some of this information. DHS has supposedly been purchasing several thousand armored vehicles like the one pictured below. If this is true, what are they for?
Either one of these purchases by DHS would be enough to make any intelligent citizen wonder what’s going on. Both happening at the same time? It is definitely a cause for concern, especially with DHS refusing to answer questions asked by our representatives in Congress.
I’m not sure what to think about the vehicles but I lean toward thinking the massive ammunition purchases are designed solely to keep ammunition out of the hands of law-abiding citizens exercising their second amendment rights. Have you tried to purchase ammunition lately? Good luck finding any. And if you do, the cost has gone up from a year ago.
The mission of DHS is “to ensure a homeland that is safe, secure, and resilient against terrorism and other hazards.” It’s the “other hazards” that are left undefined, except perhaps behind closed DHS doors. American citizens acquiring ammunition for their weapons may be considered a “hazard” by DHS. It most certainly is by the Obama administration. Buying up all the ammunition in the country may be their way of exercising a limited form of gun control until they can figure out a way to just take all our guns. But meanwhile, what are they going to do with all that ammunition?
I wish I knew what they were up to, Charles. A fellow can’t help but wonder what it is.
Whatever it is it can’t be good.
