Oklahoma Reps Bice, Cole and Lucas Vote Yes on Unconstitutional Red Flag Law

Oklahoma Representatives Stephanie Bice, Frank Lucas, and Tom Cole have voted Yes on HR4350, the National Defense Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 2022. The vote totals were 181 Democrats & 135 Republicans voting Yes and 38 Democrats & 75 Republicans voting No. Part of this $777.9 billion authorization contains a provision that would allow military courts to use protective orders that include red flag gun confiscation.

If you aren’t familiar with them, a red flag law is a gun control law that allows a family member or law enforcement to petition to the courts to order the temporary removal of all firearms that a person possesses if the court agrees with the petitioner that the person may present a danger to themselves or others. This petition and granting of a removal order could be done completely without notice to the person possessing the firearms and that person would be given no opportunity to respond until after their firearms are confiscated.

Gaystapo Continues Assault On Christianity

I’ve written numerous posts here in the last few years about the homosexual assault on Christianity and the success the Gaystapo is having with chipping away at the First Amendment right to the free exercise of religion.  Conservative Christianity is all that stands between them and the complete mainstreaming of their abominable lifestyles.  They have even acknowledged this fact.  Naturally, the Gaystapo will use every resource possible in their assault on conservative Christianity.  Every day it seems like there is something new that is being done somewhere in our country to further the homosexual war on Christianity.  With the Supreme Court’s legalization of homosexual marriage the assaults have been increasing.  I have no doubt it will get worse.  Let’s look at some of the things they have been up to lately.

If you’ve been reading my blog very long then you are well aware of the bakers in Oregon who found themselves under attack by the Oregon Bureau of Labor […] → Keep reading

Gary Sinise Helps Oklahoma Wounded Warrior

Gary Sinise was in town the last couple of days to help raise funds to build a smart home for wounded warrior US Army SSG Rusty Dunagan. Dunagan lost both legs and part of an arm to a land mine in Afghanistan. Since he came home to Oklahoma he and his family have been living in a rent house that is not handicapped friendly. Sinise came to Oklahoma City to host a screening of Forrest Gump and to host a fundraising banquet at the National Cowboy & Western Heritage Museum to raise the proceeds to build the smart home. Sinise has been a supporter of veterans for almost two decades now and he formed the Gary Sinise Foundation in 2011 to further his mission of serving and honoring our nation’s defenders. One of the Foundation’s programs, R.I.S.E. (Restoring Independence & Supporting Empowerment) builds custom smart homes for the most severely wounded veterans.

Kerry’s ‘Blunder’ Saves Obama

Secretary of State John Kerry’s gaffe in London has allowed Obama to escape the Syria debacle while saving as much face as possible. Yesterday morning, Kerry responded to a question at a London press conference by saying Assad might be able to avoid a U.S. military strike if he turned over all chemical weapons within a week. He then said he didn’t expect that to happen. But, by the end of the day his alleged gaffe was embraced by Obama, Russia, Assad and British Prime Minister David Cameron. What a lucky break for Kerry! He makes a supposedly off the cuff remark, then all of a sudden all the major players are embracing the plan!

I’m not buying it. This just doesn’t pass the smell test. At the same time this is happening Harry Reid was delaying the vote in the Senate to authorize Obama to use military force in Syria. He said the delay was to give senators more […] → Keep reading

Forget Syria, Target Iran

Daniel Pipes of the Middle East Forum has an interesting take on the situation with Syria. And that is to forget Syria and target the real threat in the Middle East – Iran. He rightly states that Syrian chemical weapons and their use pale in comparison to the danger and possible horror of Iranian nuclear weapons. He also points out a thought I have had all along, that being that while the deaths of 1,429 by chemical weapons is appalling, it is not worse than killing one hundred times that many through other means, including torture. Pipes sees three possible courses of action that can be taken and the benefits and consequences of each.

1. Knock off the Assad regime. Attractive in itself, especially because it takes out Tehran’s No. 1 ally and disrupts supply lines to Hizbullah, this scenario opens a can of worms: anarchy in Syria, foreign intervention by neighbors, the prospect of Al-Qaeda-connected Islamists taking […] → Keep reading

The Pentagon Wages War On Christians

The United States Department of Defense is waging another war, but not against another country. Their target? Christians in our own military.

Obama appointees at the Pentagon have jumped into bed with Mikey Weinstein, founder of the Military Religions Freedom Foundation, who will be a consultant in developing new policies on religious tolerance in the military. The new policies will include a court-martial for military chaplains who share the Gospel during spiritual counseling of American servicemen and women.

Weinstein wrote an angry column for the Huffington Post in which he said, “Today, we face incredibly well-funded gangs of fundamentalist Christian monsters who terrorize their fellow Americans by forcing their weaponized and twisted version of Christianity upon their helpless subordinates in our nation’s armed forces.”

Weinstein has also compared sharing the Gospel to rape and said, “It is a version of being spiritually raped and you are being spiritually raped by fundamentalist Christian religious predators.” He told the Washington Post that […] → Keep reading
