Since the acquittal of George Zimmerman in the death of Trayvon Martin, blacks and other liberals have thrown out the phrase ‘black lives matter’ all over social media, signs, broadcasts, graffiti and other places. When Michael Brown was killed in Ferguson after committing a robbery and attacking a police officer, the phrase received new impetus and has become a staple in the liberal lexicon. The people using it want everyone to believe that nobody cares about black lives but them. They use it as incitement to anger and justification for protests and riots, such as in Baltimore after the death of Freddie Gray. It’s a call to battle. A rallying cry. It’s a unifying phrase for blacks and liberals who decry ‘white privilege’ and the death of any black person at the hands of a white police officer, whether justified or not. But there’s just one problem with it.
They don’t mean it.

Now that the Supreme Court has created the constitutional right to homosexual marriage it seems prudent to offer an examination to related social issues in order to determine which perversities will be next on the left’s agenda to be normalized. One need not look very hard for the answer.
Polygamy is an obvious choice. Supreme Court Chief Justice John Roberts noted in his dissenting opinion in the Obergefell decision that the majority of the Court seemingly opened the door for polygamy in their maneuvers to legalize that which had no constitutional basis. The majority’s opinion which legalized homosexual marriage could easily be construed as also requiring the legalization of polygamy.

Less than a week ago you couldn’t find a news story about the Confederate flag if you tried. Now there are numerous articles about the flag filling several pages of any Internet search. Everyone knows what the catalyst for all these stories has been. The murder of nine black people at a South Carolina church started all the clamor after it was revealed in the media that the murderer is a racist whose goal was to start a race war. Pictures surfaced of him displaying the Confederate battle flag and before you could say ‘way down south in Dixie’ there were politicians and talking-heads in the media calling for the removal of the flag from the grounds of the South Carolina Capitol. South Carolina Governor Nikki Haley eventually made a public statement calling for the removal of the flag, saying, “it’s time.”

Jesus was wrong. So says His Excellency Barack the 1st.
At the Catholic-Evangelical Leadership Summit yesterday, Obama quotes part of a verse from the Gospel of Matthew in a manner directly opposite of what Jesus is quoted as having said. I’m sure the Obama worshippers will claim his remark was taken out of context, so here is a transcript of what he said.

In a sickening piece for The Huffington Post, Kristine Holmgren writes to wish women a happy Mother’s Day by advocating for more abortions to put an end to “angry mothers.” She relates the story of a pregnant 13-year-old girl as justification for thinking that most mothers are “angry.”
If you were born before women had access to safe, affordable, accessible abortion, chances are your mother was an angry mother.
What a sad woman Holmgren must be to believe that most mothers before Roe v. Wade were angry because they weren’t able to have an abortion. Holmgren is fooling herself if she thinks that women who abort their children live happy lives and don’t suffer from physical or mental issues later. There is an overwhelming amount of data to prove a lot do.

Recent events in Garland, Texas have created a media firestorm over the issue of whether or not people should be drawing cartoons of Muhammad. In case you missed it, political activist Pamela Geller organized a “Jihad Watch Muhammad Art Exhibit and Cartoon Contest” at which two terrorists opened fire on a security guard before being shot and killed by police. Some say Geller was within her First Amendment rights to have the event and others, mostly leftists and media, say she was wrong to do it, was responsible for the violence and should apologize.
Geller planned for the possibility of violence, allocating “thousands of dollars” for security and police at the event, just in case someone tried to duplicate the massacre at the offices of satirical magazine Charlie Hebdo in France last January. With the Supreme Court decision over the homosexual marriage issue expected next month, it could potentially be a landmark decision. The Justices have said their decision will rest on these questions:
Is marriage based on biology or feelings? Who should decide whether to redefine an institution that stretches back for “millennia”? If justices begin tampering with the historically exclusive definition of marriage as the lifelong union of a man and a woman, what would prevent future courts from imposing polygamy, incest or pedophilia-based marriage on the nation?
Justice Scalia noted that if the Court rules that homosexual marriage is a constitutional right, then pastors, rabbis, priests and imams will be forced to perform such ceremonies or face state penalties.

The rioting in Baltimore has been dominating the news this week and it has been a disgusting display of liberalism in action. The thugs claim victim status as justification for rioting, arson and theft while the police stand idly by, handcuffed by a wimp of a Mayor who wanted to give the “protesters” some “space to destroy” the city, while later claiming that she never said that. It is a stark contrast to the rioting in Baltimore in 1861 at the beginning of the Civil War. Fort Sumter, South Carolina is famous for being the location of the first shots fired in the war and the First Battle of Bull Run is famous for being the first major land battle of the armies in Virginia. But did you know that Baltimore is the location of the first documented casualty of the Civil War and that it happened during rioting in the streets? Last Friday the owners of the Sweet Cakes by Melissa bakery in Oregon learned the price of freedom of religion – $135,000. That’s the amount that Aaron and Melissa Klein have been ordered to pay to the two lesbians who requested the Kleins make a cake for their lesbian wedding. The Kleins declined on the grounds that doing so would be a violation of their religious beliefs. The lesbians complained to the Oregon Bureau of Labor and Industries that the cake refusal was “mental rape” and that the Kleins had hurt their feelings.
Christian News – According to the Daily Signal, the two women, who have been identified as Rachel Cryer and Laurel Bowman, submitted individual lists of just under 100 aspects of suffering in order to receive the damages. Late last week the press threw a gotcha question about abortion at Senator Rand Paul and he responded by challenging them to get an answer from Democratic National Committee chair Debbie Wasserman Schultz.
“Here’s the deal—we always seen to have the debate waaaaay over here on what are the exact details of exemptions, or when it starts,” said Paul, waving his hands to the left. “Why don’t we ask the DNC: Is it okay to kill a seven-pound baby in the uterus? You go back and you ask Debbie Wasserman Schultz if she’s OK with killing a seven-pound baby that is not born yet. Ask her when life begins, and you ask Debbie when it’s okay to protect life. When you get an answer from Debbie, get back to me.”
She responded and made it clear that she wants no restrictions on abortion.
